Product Description
Capillary Electrophoresis is a fast and highly sensitive analytical technique that uses an electric field to drive charged particles to migrate within a capillary. It achieves rapid separation and detection of samples based on differences in charge, molecular size, isoelectric point (pI), hydrophobicity, and other factors. It is widely used in fields such as biochemistry, pharmaceuticals, environmental science, and food safety, particularly suitable for the separation and analysis of biomolecules like proteins, peptides, nucleic acids, carbohydrates, as well as chiral compounds and small molecules. Features ● High Separation Efficiency: Under the influence of an externally applied high-voltage electric field, samples are rapidly separated within a very narrow inner diameter (usually 20-100 micrometers) fused silica capillary. ● Multiple Separation Modes: The ISCE-1000 allows for the selection of different separation modes as needed, such as zone electrophoresis, capillary gel electrophoresis, capillary isoelectric focusing, micellar electrokinetic capillary electrophoresis, and more. ● Rapid Analysis: Analysis times typically range from a few minutes to several minutes. ● Micro-Sample Volume: Nanoscale sample injection effectively reduces sample loss. ● Low Solvent Consumption: Compared to high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC), solvent consumption in capillary electrophoresis (CE) is significantly lower (usually only a few mL). ● Automated Operation: The ISCE-1000 features automated sample injection, separation, and data processing, making it user-friendly. ● Regulatory Compliance: Complies with the software platform requirements of 21 CFR Part 11.
